Edward J. Lilly
Edward J. Lilly joined the firm in 1991. Ed graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1971. He graduated from Tulane Law School in 1974. After graduation, he clerked for the judges of the Twenty Fourth Judicial Distinct Court for the Parish of Jefferson. He then worked for two years in the Land Department of Shell Oil Company, after which he entered the private practice of law. Ed received his Masters of Law in Energy and Environment from Tulane University in 1989.
Ed has extensive experience in representing, and litigating on behalf of, individual and corporate clients in numerous fields, including the fields of personal injury, products liability, class actions, oil and gas and environmental law, successions and criminal law. This representation has extended to all levels of Louisiana state courts and federal court. He has represented individuals in adjudications before Louisiana state administrative agencies, including the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners. He also served as local counsel for A.W. Chesterton Company in connection with their defense of toxic tort litigation throughout Louisiana. Ed also does pro-bono representation of Animal Rescue New Orleans, Inc., the only no-kill animal shelter in the greater New Orleans region.
